Cost of Care Estimates
Empowering you to make informed decisions about your health is our priority. This includes understanding the costs associated with your care. Using CarePricer's cost estimator tool, you can gain valuable insight into your potential healthcare expenses. By understanding costs upfront, you can make informed decisions and feel confident about your healthcare choices.
CarePricer is powered by a list of shoppable (medical) services you can schedule through our health system, i.e., radiology tests, medical procedures, and primary and specialty care appointments. CarePricer’s cost estimator tool generates a cost estimate of hospital and provider charges based on the services you select and your insurance status.
If you have questions about an estimate you have obtained through Care Pricer’s tool or our cost-of-care estimate request process, our financial specialists are available to help you. For assistance, call (603) 227-7788.
If you don't see the service you are looking for, call for an estimate.

Out-of-Pocket Expenses
Out-of-pocket expenses depend on your specific insurance plan. Most insurance policies include provisions for deductibles, co-insurance, co-payments, and non-covered services. Without knowing your specific plan details (deductible, co-pay, and covered services), it's difficult to generate an accurate estimate of your out-of-pocket expenses. You can increase the accuracy of an estimate by specifying deductible, co-pay, and covered services when using CarePricer.
Provider Fees
Estimates will include both facility and provider charges for employed providers. Estimates do not include charges from independent providers. Examples of independent provider charges include pathology, radiology, and some surgeon fees. If you receive services from both employed and independent providers, you could receive two separate bills.
Financial Assistance
If you cannot afford to pay your hospital bill in full, our Financial Assistance Program may be able to help. For more information, call (603) 227-7101.

Price Transparency
We have published our pricing information as required by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services or CMS, an agency within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
Shoppable Services
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services require hospitals to publish common “shoppable” services in a consumer-friendly format.
Machine Readable File
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services require hospitals to provide a comprehensive list of charges for all items and services, which includes the rates negotiated with insurance companies.
The price information contained in this file is not an estimate of the costs that you are responsible for paying. It is not intended for patients and does not reflect your out-of-pocket costs. If you are a patient, you can request a cost estimate by reviewing the shoppable service file or calling for an estimate.
As part of the Transparency in Coverage Regulation and Consolidated Appropriations Act, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield is required to provide a machine-readable file for members of self-funded plans to access. Concord Hospital offers employees a self-funded health insurance plan. To comply with the requirements of the law, machine-readable files are available via Anthem's website for those covered under self-funded plans. To view machine readable files for Concord Hospital, an EIN search can be performed. Upon entry of Concord Hospital's Employer Identification Number (22-2594672), the machine-readable file links for the pricing for members of Concord Hospital's self-funded plan.
