Partnership with TeleSpecialists, LLC for 24/7 Stroke Response
If you or a loved one experiences a stroke, you can trust our Stroke Program specialists for rapid diagnosis and treatment. Our emergency medicine team in Concord has a 24/7 partnership with TeleSpecialists, LLC, to speed diagnosis and treatment during a patient’s crucial first moments in the emergency department. With the TeleStroke video conference system, emergency medicine doctors consult with neurology specialists at TeleSpecialists, who are brought to the patient’s bedside by video connection. Together, the doctors view and interpret the patient’s lab test results and CT scans, examine the patient, consult with family members, and recommend treatment. The program provides a 24/7 stroke response from our board-certified neurologists and emergency medicine physicians, who treat approximately 200 to 300 stroke patients each year.
Multidisciplinary Multiple Sclerosis Care Team
Our multidisciplinary team consists of a neurologist, mental health specialist, nurse, nurse practitioner, physical therapist, occupational therapist, social worker, nutritionist, as well as medical assistants, peer volunteers, and National Multiple Sclerosis Society representatives. Together, they provide expert consultations and diagnostic evaluations, manage disease-modifying therapies, and provide comprehensive symptom management, education, and health counseling. They also coordinate referrals for wellness and rehabilitation services as needed.
