Infusion Therapy
Infusion therapy is the administration of intravenous medication, intravenous fluid, and/or blood products that may be required following an inpatient admission or as a prolonged treatment of a chronic condition.
When you need infusion therapy, turn to the experienced infusion clinicians across our health system. Not only are they well-educated on the numerous medications that are administered they also work in close collaboration with our hospital pharmacists and ordering providers to provide you the best care possible. And, if you have questions about the medication you are receiving, they are qualified and happy to address your questions and provide additional information.
Expert Team Focused on You
Serving your needs is the focus of our Infusion Services team. During your visit, registered nurses not only provide your IV therapy but also offer education and support. Additionally, the staff collaborates with resources and providers throughout the community to ensure you receive the care necessary to maintain your routine activities once you return home.
