Medical Student Rotations

NH Dartmouth Family Medicine Residency (NHDFMR) has a strong commitment to medical student education and teaching. We're a core site for family medicine clerkships for the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. We also offer fourth-year electives for external students who intend to pursue family medicine training. Residents are actively engaged in medical student teaching in both outpatient and inpatient settings.

Fourth-year students can choose between an ambulatory elective in Concord and an adult medicine sub-internship. Elective rotations are available from September through January. In addition to clinic activities, students attend morning reports and weekly education didactics.

Housing that's conveniently located across the street from Concord Hospital is available on a limited first-come, first-served basis.

We are now accepting applications for outpatient and inpatient medical student rotations for the 2024-25 academic year. We will begin reviewing applications in February on a rolling basis and will respond back to you once you submit your application within 3-4 weeks.
