Substance Use

Substance Abuse Treatment

Substance misuse is using drugs or alcohol in a way that harms you or that leads you to harm others. People misuse alcohol, illegal drugs, prescription drugs, or over-the-counter drugs. Even using tobacco can be considered substance misuse and is harmful to your health. Drug or alcohol misuse can lead to dependence and addiction.

If you or someone you know has a substance use problem, our highly trained providers across our health system can connect you to the most appropriate level of care based on your individual needs. You'll receive compassionate, confidential screening and diagnosis treatment from specialists committed to helping you achieve a full recovery.

Assessment

To help you identify the most appropriate level of care for your situation, our licensed alcohol and drug counselors conduct a comprehensive assessment. You're assessed in person by a counselor.

Referral to Inpatient Therapy

If inpatient treatment is identified as the most appropriate level of care for you, our licensed alcohol and drug counselors will assist in referring you to an appropriate facility.

Medication Assisted Therapy

Medication Assisted Therapy (MAT) is the use of medications combined with counseling to treat addiction. Through our partnership with Riverbend Community Mental Health's Choices Addiction Recovery Services, we provide Medication Assisted Therapy.
