Phillip Gray, MD
Phillip Gray, MD, spent five months training at Concord Hospital during his residency at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.
During his rotations at the hospital, Gray was “blown away by the culture, community, and commitment to putting patients first” exhibited by the surgery team.
“Time and again,” said Gray, “I spoke with people who had been working at Concord Hospital for many years, all of whom spoke very highly of the place.”
Since completing his residency earlier this year, Gray accepted a position as a general surgeon with Concord Surgical Associates within Concord Hospital Medical Group. He says the surgeons he worked with during his training were integral to his decision to begin his career as a practitioner at the hospital. In addition, Gray was impressed not only by the doctors’ clinical knowledge but also by their demonstrated devotion to their patients and colleagues.
“I knew I would be part of a group where my partners cared about patients and my personal and professional development,” said Gray. “My time rotating at Concord Hospital gave me the privileged insight to know it would be the best place for me to grow into the surgeon I want to be.”
