Concord Hospital Trust Hosts 19th Annual Pedaling for Payson Presented by Concord Orthopaedics
Funds raised will support the Nurse Navigator Program at Payson Center for Cancer Care

Concord Hospital Trust will host the 19th annual Pedaling for Payson event on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at Elm Brook Park in Hopkinton, NH. Proceeds raised will assist individuals receiving cancer treatment at the Payson Center for Cancer Care.
Presented by Concord Orthopaedics, Pedaling for Payson offers road, mountain, and gravel ride options of varying distances. New this year is a stationary spin ride hosted by Megan Farmer, head instructor of Concord-based Ride It Like You Stole It Spin.
“Proceeds from this annual event are critical to support our team-based approach to cancer care, which extends far beyond a person’s treatment plan,” said Veronica Rosa, Chief Advancement Officer. “We are grateful to our sponsors, committee members, and riders for their dedication and enthusiasm. Through their generosity, we surpassed last year’s fundraising goal, which totaled over $201,000.”
Riders of all abilities and ages are welcome. Pedaling for Payson will also include a post-ride barbecue along with beverages provided courtesy of NH Distributors, The Common Man, and Associated Grocers of New England.
Event proceeds will benefit the Pedaling for Hope Fund, which largely funds a Nurse Navigator Program at the Payson Center for Cancer Care. Nurse Navigators assist patients and their families to ease them through cancer treatment. They also help patients manage treatment schedules, cope with side effects, overcome logistical issues with treatment, as well as communicate with physicians and specialists.
