Concord Hospital Trust Announces Pedaling for Payson to Support Payson Center for Cancer Care

17th Annual Cycling Event Presented by Concord Orthopaedics

Concord Hospital Trust is pleased to announce the 17th Annual Pedaling for Payson on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at Elm Brook Park in Hopkinton, NH. The ride will support those with cancer.

Presented by Concord Orthopaedics, Pedaling for Payson offers road, mountain and gravel rides, all with variable start times and ride distances.

All proceeds from the ride will benefit the Pedaling for Hope Fund, which largely funds a Nurse Navigator at the Payson Center for Cancer Care. Nurse Navigators are a single and consistent point of contact for patients battling cancer. These professional “family members” help patients and their families navigate their way from diagnosis all the way through treatment, and even beyond – helping them live anti-cancer lifestyles.

Nurse Navigators help to put treatment plans in place, schedule necessary appointments, offer alternative resources such as Reiki, aromatherapy, support groups and more, and often assist with communication between physicians and specialists. This special support is provided at no cost to patients.

Riders of all levels and ages are encouraged to join, and the event features a post-ride barbeque and drink options courtesy of NH Distributors, The Common Man and Associated Grocers of New England.

Your registration contribution or donation helps our neighbors battling cancer receive the best possible care. Registration and contributions may be made at pedalingforpayson.org or by calling Concord Hospital Trust at (603) 227-7162.

Additional sponsors for Pedaling for Payson include Concord Imaging Center, Harvey Construction, Johnny Prescott Oil, Swenson Granite Works, Voya Financial, Prime Bucholz and Eastern Bank Charitable Foundation.
